Reminder Post for The Flower Challenge

It’s mid month which means it is time for the reminder post for The Flower Challenge. This month the challenge is:

For my card today I used an older Dalhia stamp from PowerPoppy. I have had this in my stash for a while now but haven’t had the chance to color it up.

I used my MISTI to stamp the image in Broken China Distress Ink and used a wet paint brush to pull the color along the out portion of the petals.

I then used Mustard seed and smooshed it on my craft mat to apply it to the inner poritons of my petals.

I let my background dry, and then re-stamped the image in Prize Ribbon. I then used some acrylic spray and splattered it on my background.

I stamped the sentiment and then attached my background to a blue card base and then a yellow card front.
