April Flower Challenge

This is the challenge that celebrates cards using floral images. Our challenge for April is …

Our Guest Designer this month is the fabulous Esther Asbury who was also our winner for February last year. Do check out her blog/Instagram if you have a minute as she makes such fabulous cards.

For my card this month I decided to use the Altenew Fresh Cut Roses and color it up with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.

Once I finished watercoloring the rose, I used a die cut to cut a heart out. I also die cut the heart four more times to have several layers behind the flower to add dimension.

I stamped the Simon Says sentiment from the Loving Hearts sentiment and then added these fun clay hearts from Miss Ink Stamps.

I hope you have a chance to play along with us this month over at The Flower Challenge as well as take a look at the gorgeous inspiration from the rest of the design team members.
