$25 Gift Card Winner is . . . Tanja Souter. Please email me at strangelycreativecards@gmail.com

It’s Topflight Stamps 4th Birthday and to celebrate, I’ve teamed up with some great designers to showcase birthday cards using the unique products available at Topflight Stamps. Please hop along with us and see all the beautiful talent from this group of amazing designers! You should have arrived here from Connie’s blog. If not, no worries, catch the details below.

Here is the card I made for the hop. Today I’m using the Time for Tea Pandemonium Party because I love these adorable pandas and they are perfect for a party.

For my background I used the Hunkydory Prism Pearlescent Powders in Purple Panache and Sparkling Sapphire and used a piece of plastic to smoosh the color onto my Bristol Smooth paper. I then lightly spritzed the background and added some WOW! Embossing powder in Sparkling Sand on the water and heated to melt the powder.

I then stamped and dressed my panda and colored him up with Hunkydory Prism Brush Marker and attached him to my card base with foam tape. I added the fun sentiment to finish my card.

  1. The gods of emails didn’t like my using my account so I don’t believe my first comment was accepted. Here we go again.

I love your cheerful cards. It is nice to see the pearlescent powders becoming popular again. I have always loved the rich, deep tones of the powders and how they look on black paper.

  2. You really captured the spirit of the sentiment with the splashes of color! So cute! I did not know I could melt embossing powder into water to hold onto a card, a new technique for me. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Yep, I’d say that cute little panda created some Pandamonium with that explosion of color and texture behind it. Great card! From Laura P, in case it shows up as unknown
