I hope you’ve had a chance to play along with our Birthday Card Challenge over at A Blog Named Hero.
Today, I have a fun and easy birthday card using the Color Layering Elephant set and some Pom Poms I may have borrowed from my daughter.
I started by stamping the elephant on to some white cardstock using Altenew’s gray inks. I then decided to trace the outline of the image in some black ink to give it a little more definition.
I took several Pom Poms and glued them onto the card and drew in the lines for the string. I think next time I will use colored pens for this to make it a more fun.
To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment and used a little washi tape from my stash. That’s it, a quick and fun birthday card using just a couple of supplies that can be for both kids and adults! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you get a chance to play along with us this month!
