Thank You Cards

It’s March and that means it is time for another wonderful challenge over at The Flower Challenge. This month is an easy one:

Remember to use florals as your main image and check out the rest of the Design Team’s beautiful creations.

For my card I started by stamping the Altenew Hope set. I focused on the flowers first and layered the with the Cherry Blossom ink. I love the ink combinations that Altenew has as it takes all the guess work out.  I actually stamped these in my MISTI  and needed three thank you cards so it was easy to mass produced them.

Once I was done stamping the flowers, I masked the image and focused on the leaves using Deep Sea Blues. I thought the blue and pinks would look fun together.

Once the ink was dry, I ran the panels and white foam through my die cut machine. Glue the foam on to the thanks was a little tricky and I had problems lining up my first one. So I used some Glad Press & Seal on the front of the card to hold the die cut and the card in place. I then was able to flip the card over and line up the foam piece to the die cut thanks perfectly. Once the glue was dry, I removed the thanks, and glued down the card panel onto a card base.

I added sparkle pen to the sentiment and then some glossy accents to help it stand out a bit. Then to finish them, I added some sequins and now have some thank you cards to give to some friends who have helped me out the past month.
