Okay but First Coffee

I’m over on the Topflight Stamps blog today with a fun Katzelkraft Jungle Animal card. I love this set and all the different ways you can use these animals. This time I decided to pair the elephant with a coffee sentiment.

This is basically me and the way I feel before I’ve had my morning coffee. If you can’t tell, I am not a morning person no matter how hard I try.

I started by doing some Distress Oxide ink blending on Bristol card stock. I used Mustard seed, Picked Raspberry and Blueprint Sketch. I then used InkOn3 Fade Out ink to do some no line Copic coloring on the elephant. The elephant was a bit of a challenge since it was a smaller image with lots of great details.

I then fussy cut the elephant out and attached him to the card base with some foam tape. The sentiment is also from Katzelkraft and I stamped it in Versafine ink and clear heat embossed it. Have a wonderful day and I hope you get a chance to start it with some coffee!
