Happy March! I hope it is starting to look like spring where you are. The weather is a little crazy here in Texas but I feel like spring is tying to peek through. The beginning of a new month also means a new challenge at The Flower Challenge. This month the challenge is…
I’m not sure if I;m the only one, but I might have a hard time throwing out scraps. I save most of it and had a large variety to choose from for this months challenge. Here is the card I made using some of my scraps.
I started with the background and figuring out what scraps I wanted to use. I had die cut a panel I made using photo paper and distress oxides and some added foil. I couldn’t throw out the pieces and instead added some smaller leftovers from an alcohol ink project as well as some gold foil paper.
I arranged the pieces into a loose square and glued them down. I then tool the Altenew Airbrushed Flowers and stamped them in similar blues and browns to match the background.
I used foam tape to add the flower to my background and then finished the card by adding a sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you get a chance to play along with us this month as well as check out the beautiful cards from the design team.
