I hope you all had a great Valentine’s Day. Today is the reminder post for The Flower Challenge which is:

For my card today, I used the Altenew Coral Sunset set along with some loose watercoloring.

I struggle with the loose look and want to control where the color goes. To help the process, I wet the flower down and dabbed color around with a bigger brush. I also added a little bit of the PaperArtsy Infusions watercolor powder and lightly spritzed it down.

After my background dried, I splattered some white acrylic paint on the background and then added a birthday sentiment from Reverse Confetti.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a chance to play along with our theme this month. Have a wonderful week and hope you have a chance to get crafty.

This is one of my favorite cards of yours, Ericka. The color of the flowers is beautiful and I love the soft background.
