JOFY Sparkly Stencil Background

Hello crafty friends! I’m over on the Topflight Stamps blog creating a sparkly birthday card using PaperArtsy JOFY PS206 and WOW! Embossing.  

I started using a gel press background I had in my stash and took the JOFY PS206 stencil and added texture paste. I then used the WOW! Embossing Summer Scoops to different portions of the design.

Once the texture paste was dry, I heat embossed the design. I then used the WOW! Mixed Media Brush with the PaperArtsy Sara Naumann PS248 to add some blue using the Sea of Tranquility powder from the WOW! Seth Apter Cosmic Trio.

My flowers were still a little lost in the red/pinkish background, so I used the WOW! Embossing Pen and traced around the flowers to add Space Dust embossing powder. I liked the way the dark blue powder made the flowers pop and filled some of the blank space.

To finish my card, I added Visible Image Happy Birthday sentiment with white embossing powder.
