Making Petals with PaperArtsy

 Happy Friday! Ericka here and I’m over on the Topflight Stamps blog playing with some more PaperArtsy and making petals with the new Tracy Scott 45 set.

I was going to originally make a card with these fun petals that I doodled on with white pen, but instead turned it into a 7×7 panel.

I started by spraying manila folders with different colors of the Dina Wakley Media Spray. I love the different way this acrylic spray reacts and the beautiful and vibrant colors. After the paint dried I stamped the images with Archival ink and started playing with my white gel pen.

I love the beautiful designs on these petals and cut them out to add to a piece of white cardstock.

I used the PaperArtsy Sara Naumann 45 set for the background and sentiment. I love the scripty writing in this set and stamped it in a soft gray. I then started arranging my petals on the background.

I added foam tape to the top petals for added dimension and stamped the sentiment in black. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
