Spring Fling Instagram Hop

In celebration of National Craft Month, and I’m particpating in a Spring Fling Instagram Hope today with some of my favorite crafty friends. For this card I stamped the Altenew Medallion in Versmark ink and rose gold embossed it on watercolor paper. I then took out my watercolors and started mixing darks with lights to get a light spring look.

I love the bright spring look of these watercolors and the medallion image was so fun to paint.

I made two other cards using the new Ranger Pearl Alcohol Inks and the Altenew Wildflower Garden set.

I started off playing around with the pearl alcohol inks on yupo paper.

For this card I used the applicator tool and made stripes and swiped them along the yupo paper. I love the bright look these inks have and they made the perfect background for the flowers I stamped in archival ink.

For the second alcohol ink card, I dropped the ink on the Yupo and spread it around with a blower.

I had some sticky parts where the ink was a little thick, so I added some gold foil to give it some accents. I stamped the image in Versamark ink and then heat embossed it in WOW Metallic Perfect Plum.
