Floral Background

Happy Monday! I had a little time to play with some supplies this weekend so I decided to practice a some no-line watercoloring with this fun floral background from Pinkfresh Studio that is now retired.

I stamped the Pinkfresh Floral Background on some watercolor paper with InkOn3 Fadeout ink. This ink is awesome and makes a faint line that disappears once it accepts colors.

I used the Pinkfresh Liquid watercolors and started out with the pink flowers and laid down the lightest color and adding a little red to my palette for the shading. I love these beautiful colors they were so fun to use. I continued this method for the rest of the flowers until it was complete. I added some light blue for the background.

I adhered the card to a black base and then used a sentiment from the Pinkfresh Believe set and gold heat embossed it. I love this sentiment and the awesome font and I adhered it with some foam tape to add some dimension. I finished the card off using some gold and clear sequins in my stash for added sparkle.
