Its Friday and I have another fun blog post for Topflight Stamps that can be found here.
I have two cards that I made using this beautiful set from Visible Images called Life Is Beautiful.
For my first card, I used a background I had created using Distress Oxides on photo paper. This is fun technique so I have plenty of colorful backgrounds to use and this image is perfect match for this one.
I then stamped the images using Ranger Archival Ink. I stamped the sentiments by using Tombow markers and then adhered them with foam tape. I finished the card by using a white cardbase and using the same markers framed the edges.
For my second card, I used the Visible Image Stencil Count Me In Stencil and Distress Oxides in Citron and Lucky Clover on an old manila folder I had cut to A2 size. My husband has tons of old manila folders and I love being able to recycle them into something pretty. I finished the edges off with some Distress Ink Chipped Sapphire.
I stamped the image using Tombow markers and a light spritz to the stamp. I added the setniment using VersaFine ink and clear heat embossing it. I used some washi tape in my stash to add a little more blue to the card.
Hope you enjoyed these cards and thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!
