Love is in the Air

I’m over at the Topflight Stamps blog today with a fun Valentines card.

I love these jungle animals from Katzelkraft. On my previous post I had made a Valentines card with the same stencil and Shimmerz Vibez spray. Instead of wasting the spray that was on the stencil, I took another piece of paper and a paper towel and pressed the stencil with the paint onto the paper to get a reverse stencil.

While that was drying, I stamped the hippo and used some Copics in RV10, RV11, RV13 and RV14 to color it up. I then stamped the clouds on to the card using blue ink and misting it with water to get a lighter look.

I stamped the sentiment and then attached the hippo with some 3D glue dots to give it some dimension. I added the card to a piece of Valentines paper I had in my stash and finished it off with some Nuvo Drops.
