Hello gang! It’s the 1st of June, which means it is time for a new Lindy’s Gang Color Challenge! This month, we’re diving into the beautiful world of Monet All Day Magical Shakers with a focus on relaxing, nature, or Japanese styles. While I don’t have any specifically Japanese styles in my stash, I found a perfect alternative with the Altenew Sakura Blossom die set for my card.

Step 1: Creating the Flowers
To start, I colored some Bristol Smooth paper using a small gel press circle plate. I misted the plate before adding the Monet All Day Magical Shaker colors. For the leaves, I used “Take it Or Leaf It,” and for the flowers, I combined “Waterlilies Lavender” with “Head in the Claudes” to create a deep blue hue. For the centers of the flowers, I chose “Not In A Vermillion Years.” This technique is fantastic for achieving a splotchy color effect on paper, adding beautiful texture to your project.

Step 2: Stamping the Background
While waiting for my colored pieces to dry, I used the Altenew Rustic Linen background stamp. I wanted to achieve a look similar to the gel press technique, so I lightly misted the large stamp and added Lindy’s Gang Impressionist Ink Magical Shaker. Pressing my paper onto the stamp created a lovely waterfall effect, perfect for my card’s background and highlighting all the beautiful colors in the Impressionist Ink Shaker.

Step 3: Assembling the Flowers
Once my pieces were dry, I got to work on die-cutting and assembling the flowers. The Altenew Sakura Blossom die set made this process easy and enjoyable. I added some gems to the centers of the flowers for a touch of sparkle. After gluing my flowers onto the background, I finished the card with some washi tape words.

Final Touches
I then added some sparkle with the Fairy Fluff Spray and misted it over my card. The combination of the vibrant colors, textured background, and delicate flower die-cuts created a card that truly captures the essence of nature and relaxation. I love how the Monet All Day Magical Shakers brought this project to life with stunning colors.
