The Flower Challenge – Adding Spots or Stripes

This month the theme for The Flower Challenge is:

Our Guest Designer this month is the talented Enna from ritzybaubles.com  go visit her blog and Instagram to see her gorgeous cards and coloring.

For my card I used the Pinkfresh Infinite Bloom set along with the Nested Chevron for my stripes.

I started by stamping the Infinite Bloom set and stamping it in Spun Sugar Distress Ink to do some no-line watercoloring with my Karin Brushmarkers. Once my image was dry, I used the die cut to cut the image so that I could apply it to my background.

For my background, I used my blending brushes with Squeezed Lemonade and Tumbled Glass to lightly color the background. I then took the Nested Chevron stamp in my MISTI and heat embossed the background with the light Pink Tutu from WOW! Embossing. I love the light color along with the shine it adds to my card.

To finish my card, I used the included sentiment with white embossing powder and added the clear Pinkfresh Studio jewels and a little shine.
