Happy Friday! I’m over on the Topflight Stamps blog with a journal page I made using the Tracy Scott PS226 leaf stencil and the Sara Naumann ESN41 set.

I love this stencil and thought it would be perfect to use with a gel press background I had made with some Dylusions Paint in Bubblegum and Calypso.

I used Distress Oxide in Kitch Flamingo with a blending brush and the stencil and traced the outline with a black pen. I then started to doodle on the leaves in random patterns using a black and white gel pen (fyi I need some zentangle practice).

 

I used Sara Naumann ESN41 and stamped portions in white to add texture to my background and heat embossed the sentiment in white.
