Bee Friendly

Happy Friday! I’m over on the Topflight Stamps blog and continuing the weekly theme of using Hobby Art stamps. I love the variety of images Hobby Art has and today I used the Bee Friendly set for a fun card.

I love this set and decided to use the bees with a PaperArtsy Fresco Paint background with some added WOW! Embossing. I started by using the following paint and applying them to my paper with a brayer: Zesty Zing, Tango, Chalk, Caramel, and Gold Rush.

I then stamped the honeycomb image and heat embossed it with WOW! Embossing Mai Tai which has a beautiful sparkle. I then used Versamark ink for the bees and the sentiment and heat embossed it with Halo. I used a black sparkle marker to color in portions of the bees.
