Christmas Roses

Happy Sunday! It’s time for the reminder post for The Flower Challenge.

Here is my card this month using the Rose Trio from Crackerbox & Suzy Stamp.

I love these beautiful roses and decided to use them on a Christmas card (since I still have a couple more to make!)

I started by stamping the flowers in Versamark ink on Bristol Smooth paper and gold heat embossing it. I love flowers with gold heat embossing and thought it would be great for a festive card.

I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers for the flower and then added some light blue marker around the edge. I wanted to go a little darker so added some Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink around the edges. I then used some gold spray to the background.

I used a Honey Bee Stamps die from last year and cut the Christmas on gold glitter paper and the Merry in Navy blue. I added the vellum in the back to help it stand out from my darker background.
