Adding Leaves to Spring Flowers

Happy Saturday! It’s time for the reminder post for the Flower Challenge. This month the challenge is to use leaves with our floral image.

Here is my card this month using Simon Says Stamp Spring Flowers and Even MOre Spring Flowers.

I started out by stamping two sets of each flower and lots of leaves in Gina K Barely There Amalgam ink. I then got to work watercoloring them with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens.

I used the following colors:

• 220 Tea Rose and 027 Dark Pink
• 031 Cobalt Blue, 004 Fl Green, and 035 Deep Blue
• Leaves – 036 Light Blue, 035 Deep Blue, 033 Persian Green, 038 Peacock Blue, and 092 Blue Gray

I die cut all the pieces and then used the Reverse Confetti Stitched Circles Cover Die for the background and worked on the placement of the leaves and flowers. I had several layers going to adhered various parts with foam tape and Zots for added dimension.

I white heat embossed the sentiment and also adhered it to the base with foam tape. To finish the card I used some clear sequins.
