Alcohol Inks & Embossing Paste Oh My

Happy Friday! I’m over on the Topflight Stamp blog today with some Christmas cards using the Florastelle Stencil from AALL & Create and glitter embossing paste.

I love the textured glitter look the embossing paste has and the bright colors of the alcohol inks. Not your typical Christmas colors but fun all the same.

I used one alcohol ink panel and cut it to make the two different cards.I started by using the stencil and Bo Bunny Sugar Glitter paste. I let the paste dry overnight and then used Alcohol Pearl Inks and played around with the blending solution until I was happy with the background.

Once the panel was dry I cut it sideways and then glued it to a cardstock and used the Merry Christmas sentiment from Craft Emotions Christmas Gift set. I heat embossed it in silver.

I always have a tough time throwing away my alcohol ink scraps so on my second card I included the leftovers as well as a couple more strips below the sentiment from Katzelkraft which I heat embossed in white.
