Lindy’s April Color Challenge

Hello gang! I hope you are doing well and spring is starting to sprout where ever you may be. It’s the beginning of April which means it is time for a new challenge over at the Lindy’s Gang FB page. This month it is all about Outer Space, well using the Outer Space set.

I love these bright colors and had fun creating an outspace card using of course, all the colors!

I did a little experiment with my card this month. I started with watercolor paper and put a jar down where I wanted to create a planet. I then sprinkled the Outer Space Magicals around my background using mister to activate the pigment. I then painted my purple planet and outlined it with a Posca pen.

I used a black and white Posca pen to add my planets. and added the sentiment in white embossing. I lightly misted my background and sprinkled some Gimmie Five Gold Embossing Powder and quickly heat embossed it.

I stamped and painted the rocket and added it to the background with foam tape to complete my card.
