Flower Challenge Add Embellishments

It is the beginning of December which means that it is time for another fun Flower Challenge. This month the challenge is to add embellishments to your floral images.

Our Guest Designer this month is Helen from ‘cardsfromhelen‘ do check out her blog if you have a minute as she makes such fabulous cards.

Here is my card for the challenge using The Ton’s Poinsettia Close Up and Karin Brushmarkers.

I love large blooms and this stamp fills up a card perfectly. I started by stamping the image and heat embossing it in Rose Gold powder.

I then watercolored the image using pink and purple and then adding a blue around the corners and a bright green for the center.

Once my card was dry, I added this sentiment and for my embellishments I used these pretty Hunkydory Diamond Sparkles. After all Christmas and diamonds are a natural pair lol.

To finish my card, I added some white paint splatters at the end for a winter snow look. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
