Joy Clair New Release Day 1

I’m so excited to be participating in the Joy Clair New Release this month. Be sure to check out the Blog Hop details and prize information at the end of my post.

Today I’m coloring up the beautiful Forever Friends Digital stamp. I love these flowers and the bonus with being a digital print is that I can print them as big as I want.

I printed out the flowers on copic friendly paper with a light line so that I could give it a no-line coloring look. I also added the sentiment on top of the image so that I could emboss it later.

I used Altenew’s Alcohol Marker Set D to color up my bouquet. I really love these colors and I gave a little brown shading around the image to help it pop.

Once I was done coloring the flower I added some WOW! Embossing to my image using the Embossing Pen. First I added some Clear Sparkle highlights to my petals and then I used the pen to trace my sentiment.

I used gold for the “miss you” portion and then added Midnight Dream to the “friend” portion of the sentiment. To finish my card I added some clear sequins.

  1. I really like how you colored this. You left the lines, giving contrast. I am TRYING to learn to color, but am not a natural at it, that’s for sure!!
