CAS-ual Fridays Inspirational Cards

I made a couple of inspirational cards using CAS-ual Friday stamp sets Calm & Gentle and Calm & Loving. Both these sets have great sentiments and a tree as their main image.

I made two cards. The first one I incorporated a bunch of sentiments in my Misti and stamped them on some white card-stock with VersaMark and heat embossed them in white.  I then used distress ink in Lucky Clover and Cracked Pistachio.

For my background, I blended Broken China and Chipped Sapphire keeping it lighter in the center. I then stamped the tree images from both sets using more distress ink to give it a softer look.

My second card, used the Curtis Background. There are so many fun options for this background, I decided to white heat emboss it and use my Color Bursts to give the background a varied color.

I then took a smaller piece of card stock and stamped the tree image in distress ink. I love this sentiment and heat embossed it. For a final touch I added some clear Nuvo drops and rounded the corners.
