Happy Friday! You made it through the week yeah! I’m over on the Topflight Stamps blogwith a mixed media card I made using the gel press, distress oxides, the Lavina Background Script, and AALL & Create Heart set.
This card has tons of hearts which is perfect for the great SALE Topflight has going on until tonight the 31st!
This was such a fun card to create and I love how well all these sets go together. I started out using one of the backgrounds I had made previously with my gel press and distress oxides. I’m a little addicted to this technique at the moment and you can check out the technique here.
I then used the Lavina Background Script with Hearts and stamped it on the background with Antique Linen Distress Ink. I wanted the image to be a little darker, so I inked up the stamp with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide and spritzed a little water on the stamp before I stamped it again.
I added the AALL & Create Hearts with Versafine ink and heat embossed it with Emerald Creek Fractured Ice which is a clear embossing powder with flecks of sparkle and silver.
I used the Heart stencil by Alexandra Renke with some texture paste to add some texture to the card as well as the Prism Cherry Pie spray.
To finish my card, I added this sentiment from Darkroom Door Warm Wishes set which will be in the Topflight store soon so keep an eye out for it. That’s it for me today, thanks for visiting and have a wonderful weekend!
