Today is Your Day

Happy Saturday! I hope you are having a fantastic day and are almost ready for Christmas! Today I’m over at on the Topflight Stamps blog with a fun and quick card using For The Love of Stamps Today is Your Day. I love using big sentiments and for this one I did some Distress Oxide blending.

Isn’t this stamp fun! I started with some Distress Oxide blending on Bristol Smooth paper. I used Distress Oxides in Antique Linen, Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold, Seedless Preserve, and Chipped Sapphire.  I then spritzed some water in my hand and flicked it on my background.

I then stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Emerald Creek Midnight Magic.

I finished my card with some Nuvo Drops and a blue card base.

I also made one more quick Christmas card using a background I had sitting in my stash.

This large Merry Christmas stamp from For The Love of Stamps has fun little circles in the font so I used some Nuvo drops for a festive look.
