Woodland Trio

I’m over on the Topflight blog today with a happy fall card. Our weather here in Texas is finally turning fall-ish around 70 degrees so I thought I would use this Woodland Trio set from Magenta and celebrate.

I love the details on this stamp and it fits perfectly across a card.

I started by making the background using Distress Oxides in Barn Door, Gathered Twigs, and Marigold, and photo paper. I put some ink on my craft mat and smooshing around the colors letting each layer dry. Once it was inked up and dry, I used a paper towel and wiped of the oxide to revel a bright background.

I stamped the image and sentiment with Ranger Archival ink . Once it was dry, I used a white gel pen to try over the sentiment so that it was more visible.

I also made a quick card using Kraft cardstock.

I stamped the image with Versafine Sepia ink and used some gel pens to quickly color the images.
