Winter Coffee Break

Happy Friday! I have fun winter coffee card today over at the Topflight Stamps Blog.  Not like its getting cold here in Texas but I’m hoping it will soon.

I took a scrap piece of watercolor paper and stamped the sup. Then in order to get the gingerbread man on the cup, I masked it with some masking fluid. Once that was dry, I stamped this cute gingerbread man.

I carefully removed the masking fluid and then painted my image with some Shimmerz watercolors. I then used a gel pen to make some winter designs on the cup. I love how these accessories can go with just about anything.

 

I then fussy cut the cup out and attached it to a background I had sprayed. I stamped the sentiment and clear embossed it on a blue scrap of paper. I adhered both pieces to the card with foam tape to add  some dimension.
