Altenew Vintage Thank You Card

Hello crafty friends. Today I’m playing with this pretty Altenew set I received as a “Thank You” gift and making a vintage looking thank you card.

I love the lines on this flower and thought it would be perfect with a printable I had in my stash. I used clear gesso on the printable and then added some white gesso with my fingers. Once the background was dry, I added some Lindy’s Magicals in Bandolier Brown to darken the paper and tore the edges to give the paper an aged look.

I stamped and clear embossed these beautiful flowers and used my watercolor pencils to color them up. Once the first layer was dry, I added some orange to the petals. I fussy cut out the flowers and added them to my panel. I finished my card by adding this small Thanks sentiment and heat embossing it in white.

I’m playing along with the Altenew January 2023 Inspiration Challenge. Be sure to check out all the inspiration.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful week.
