Visible Image Grow Stronger

Hello craft friends! Today I’m playing with the Visible Image Into the Woods set. It’s been raining here in Texas for the last two weeks which has made everything bloom again even though we are technically in fall. I decided to play with this set and create some blooms on my tree.

I started off with an alcohol ink background on Yupo I made using the Bearly Arts new Alcohol Ink set. I then used a technique I saw from Tracy Dutton using Ranger Alcohol Lift Ink with a brayer applied to the Yupo to lift the ink onto cardstock. I love playing with this technique and the beautiful pulls you get on cardstock.

Since my background was now on cardstock, it makes stamping on the paper a lot easier. I stamped the forest image using Versafine Clair ink in Rain Forest. I stamped the main tree with Versafine Clair ink in Twilight and stamped the trunk couple of times to bring it down closer to the bottom and added the owls.

I white heat embossed the sentiment and then pulled out my white gel pen along with a Posca sparkle pen to add blooms on my tree.

I love this tree and also added some white gel pen along the edges to finish my card.
