Flower Challenge

Happy July! With a new month comes a new challenge over at The Flower Challenge! This month the challenge is:

I always have a hard time with CAS cards and leaving white space but for my card this month I think I did better.

I used the Altenew Build A Flower Coral Charm along with the Altenew Dye Inks which is always so easy to get a nice colored flower. I stamped the flower in the Tea Party Inks and then used the black ink to frame the flower.

I then stamped the layered leaves using Green fields and added some smaller flowers with Paper Bag ink. This is actually the second card I made. I was a little impatient when I stamped my sentiment and didn’t let the ink dry. Ugh black ink smooshed all around the white. However, this set is so easy to use it was a quick make even a second tame around.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful week and get a chance to play along with our challenge.

  1. Beautiful CAS card Ericka, I love that you only coloured the main flower and leaves and the sentiment perfect second time round. Hugs Aileen

  2. You do CAS beautifully, Ericka. I love the border matching the red in the flower. The background blossoms were a great touch.
