June Flower Challenge

It’s the beginning of the month which means it is time for a new Flower Challenge! This month the challenge is….

Our Guest Designer this month is the fabulous Nancy Penir who was the winner for the February challenge. Check out her blog. For my card this month I used some leftovers in my stash. I had a dark blue background I made by smooshing cardstock in blue ink that I had spritzed with water. Once it was dry I did some white heat embossing with a stamp in my stash.

I stamped the Altenew Wild Hibiscus on some yellow paper I had done some ink distress blending. The paper had a little texture paste on it but I like the grungy feel it give my flowers.

I fussy cut my flowers out and attached them to my card base with foam tape. I added some glitter drops to the middle of my flower as well as a little more yellow shading.

I finished up my card with a sentiment I cut out and framed with blue pen. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a chance to check out all the beautiful cards from the design team.
