Visible Image 2020 Vision Wall Hanging

Hello crafty friends! Today I have a project I created for my Mother In Law who has been having a rough time and is transitioning from independent living to something a little more assisted.

I love this beautiful 2020 Vision stamp from Visible Image and paired it with this awesome sentiment from the Visible Image Brave and Strong set. I started by using Bristol Smooth paper, size 8x 5, and Lindy’s Magical powders which are powdered dye based pigments with a beautiful sparkle. I used them in rainbow order and added spritz of water until I got the look I wanted.

Once my background was dry, I used my MISTI stamping tool and stamped the 2020 Vision image with Versamark black ink and clear heat embossed it.

I used Distress Inks in similar colors with the Visible Image Count Me In stencil to add details around the edge of my project.

I stamped the top portion of the stamp a second time in order to make my image longer and fill the page. I then added glossy accents to the large circles and Ranger Glitter Stickles to the smaller circles.

Once my project was dry, I glued it onto black cardstock and added twine to the bottom with the white embossed sentiment.

I then added some “extra” details I had in my stash to stash. I heat embossed the key and locket with Emerald Creek Patina Oxide and added it to my project. I also found some metal butterflies and colored them up with some alcohol inks and heat embossed them with Emeral Creek Vintage Beeswax to add some shine.

I love these embellishments and feel that they really tied my project together. I attached some twine to the back so that my Mother In Law can hang it up on the wall in her new place.
