Visible Image Totally Toadstools

Happy Monday friends! Today I’m creating a quick and fun card using the Visible Image Totally Toadstools set. I was out on a camping field trip with my oldest and was inspired by all the cool looking mushrooms I saw while hiking around the forest.

To create my card, I first stamped the mushroom images in black Versamark ink and clear heat embossed it. I then colored them up in a variety of reds using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I added the grass by coloring the stamp with my watercolor markers in various shades of green and then lightly spritzing the stamp to get a varied tone of grass.

I wanted to add a little fun to my clean and simple card, so I used my Ranger Stickles Glitter Glue to the tops of my mushrooms for some sparkle.

To finish my card, I added the awesome sentiment included in the set and clear heat embossed it. I love the font of this sentiment and while my mushrooms may not heal (I think red ones are extremely poisonous) I know that getting out in nature is always a good thing. Have a wonderful week and I hope you have a chance to enjoy the nature around you.
