Flower Challenge Reminder

It’s the midway point in our current challenge and here is my reminder card. This month our theme for October is…’Use a Shape’.

I had an alcohol ink background in my stash of background and thought it would be fun to use the Pinkfresh Hexagons Die. Before I ran the background through my die cut machine, I used a little Theroweb Liquid glue to apply some foil to the background. I love the look and it was a fun way to add a little more gold to my background.

Once I die cut my background, I was left with some fun hexagons as well as a pretty die cut background. I decided to use both to make some cards.

For my main card, I arranged the hexagon shapes to make a fun square. I then used the Pinkfresh Dainty Blossom with some gold card stock and added it to my card along withe sentiment.

For my second card, I glued the die cut background to my card base and added another flower from the Dainty Blossom die set.

This was such a fun way to use an alcohol background and get several cards in the process.
