The Flower Challenge #61 Plus a Birthday

The Flower Challenge! This is the challenge that celebrates cards using floral images. Our challenge for October is … ‘Use a Shape’

It is also The Flower Challenge’s 5th birthday! It wouldn’t be a birthday unless there were prizes. This month we are giving away 11 prizes so make sure to enter your flower card.

Here is my card for this month using a shape. Actually I got a little carried away with my hexagon shape.

I started out by coloring this pretty flower from PaperArtsy Tracy Scott. I colored it up with my Copics and then tried to figure out how I wanted to incorporate my shape. I had a piece of yupo with alcohol ink. I decided to cut a couple of shapes and then got a little carried away with adding them to my card. lol.

I added a die cut to create a thank you card. I also wanted to add a little sparkle to my flower so used glitter glue.
