Coffee Loving Cardmakers – Guest Designer

Hello Coffee Lovers! I’m so excited to be a Guest Designer this month at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog. I’m not sure which I love more coffee or coffee stamps and I feel like you can never have too many of either. I love participating in the Coffee Lovers Blog Hops and so for my cards today I used a set I won from one of the sponsors, Anthony’s Papercraft. I had to made two cards using the Travel Coffee set as well as the Coffee 2 stamp set.

For my first card, I used the background panel included in the Travel Coffee set and did some ink blending with Peacock Feather and Ground Espresso Distress Oxide. I then used Dylusions Shimmer Spray for a little sparkle.

I stamped the coffee cup from the Coffee 2 set and heat embossed it in WOW! Weathered Gold.

I added the cups to my panel with foam tape and then added this awesome sentiment from the Travel Coffee set to finish my card.

For my second card I used the cup and sentiment from the Travel Coffee set . I colored the cup with Copics.

I created the background with PaperArtsy Infusions in Emerald Isle and used a piece of plastic to smoosh it on my background. Once it was dry, I used foam tape to adhere both the coffee cup and sentiment to my card base.
