Visible Image Grow Stronger

Happy Monday! Today I’m playing with Visible Image and an old book I bought at a local antique shop. I love the look of printed text in the background and thought it would be fun to play with some pages.

To start, I took a random page in my old book and used my gel press with the PaperArtsy Fresco Paints in Bubble Gum, Byzantium, and Aquamarine.

I then stamped the flower images from both the Creative Chaos and Total Chaos sets and heat embossed them with WOW! Halo. I then added some additional colors with my pink Sharpies.

I then fussy cut out all my flowers and started to create my background using the Collision Stencil and with Distress Oxide Inks in Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, and Chipped Sapphire.

I then took the flowers and stamped and embossed them on the background and then used glue dots to adhere the flowers to my card base.

I added some gold string to the back of my flowers for some added sparkle. I then took the sentiment from the Into the Woods and heat embossed it as well.
