Joy Clair New Release

Today is Joy Clair’s New Release and I love all the awesome digital stamps in the “Ray of Sunshine” collection.

Today I chose the Spring Rose set to play with and color up with a combo of Copic markers and colored pencils.

I love the flowers in this set and used Word to create my layout using the larger rose as well as the smaller one. I printed the layout on Copic friendly paper on my Brother Toner Ink printer. I then, colored them up with Copic Markers and then added my Faber Castell Polychromos for some shading and details.

Once I was happy with my image, I used my toner printer to make a separate sentiment. I ran it through my MINC Foil Machine (you can also use a laminator) with some gold foil.

I love the look of foiled sentiment and cut it out and adhered it to the background with foam tape. For my final touch, I added some sequins randomly around my card.
