Shining Sun

Happy Monday! Today I’m playing with some Visible Image and making a bright card during our cold winter weather.

I love this Rise and Shine set along with the gorgeous sun. I started out with a background I had made previously using paint and applying it to the paper with a brayer. I stamped the sun with and heat embossed it with WOW! Sunflower yellow. I then used Color Bursts to give my sun a varied color.

I then used a stamp from Phoenix Rising to make some clouds and embossed them in WOW! Midnight to give them a blue sparkle.

I also added some of the circles in the Rise and Shine set around my background for additional texture.

I then fussy cut my sun out and attached it with foam tape. I added the sentiment in Versafine ink and clear embossed it. I also added a little white gel pen around the shining to help pop it up.
