Happy New Year Butterfly

Happy New Year! I’m over on the Topflight Stamps blog with a panel I made for the New Year using PaperArtsy stamps and Fresco Chalk Paints.

I started by creating a background using the following PaperArtsy Fresco Paints: Aquamarine, Cerise, Eggplant, Globe Thistle, and Pixie Dust. I used a damp baby wipe to spread my colors on a piece of Bristol smooth paper that I cut to 6×6.

Once the paint was dry, I used the Sara Naumann 45 set and white pigment ink to stamp on the background and add texture.

 I then used the Tracy Scott 39 butterfly and stamped it in Versafine ink and heat embossed it with WOW! Clear Sparkle embossing powder for some pretty shine!

I love this butterfly and all the beautiful ways you can use it. I added some white gel pen accents for highlights and used the sentiment in the same Sara Naumann set and white heat embossed it.

I love all the beautiful sparkle and added a touch more with the Hunkydory Diamond Sparkles.
