Razzelberry Birthday Card

Today I’m playing with some WOW! Embossing powders to make a fun Birthday card. I used one of the new powders, Razzelberry, which is part of the Summer Scoop Trio set along with Metallic Platinum.

I started by blending Distress Oxide Inks in Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch, and Chipped Sapphire on Bristol Smooth paper. 

Once the background was dry, I used the Darkroom Door Happy Birthday Sentiment Strip with WOW! Embossing Clear Ink and heat embossed it with Razzelberry powder. On the blue background the pink became more transparent but the sparkle is beautiful.

I stamped the sentiment strip again on the left side and this time heat embossed it with Metallic Platinum to stand out a bit more. I stamped the Darkroom Door Cupcake on white cardstock and heat embossed it with the Razzelberry and added it to the card with foam tape for a pretty pink touch.

I finished my card with a strip of pink glitter washi on the side, since you can never have to much sparkle and shine on a birthday card.
