Classic Gold Embossing on Navy

I hope you have had a good week. I’m over on the WOW! Embossing Powder blog with a classic card using Gold Embossing and Navy cardstock. I added a slight twist to the card using colored pencil to highlight some of the flowers.

I started by stamping the Pinkfresh & Hero Arts You Make a Difference set and embossed it with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Pale in my MISTI to ensure full stamp coverage.

I then took out my colored pencils and highlighted some of the flower and leaves with shades of pink, purple, and green. 

I love the look of the colored pencil with the gold on navy.  I stamped the sentiment in Gold Pearl Embossing which has a slight difference in color on the dark cardstock than the Metallic Gold but it was hard to photograph.

There you have it, a quick and pretty card with a touch of color.
