Summer Flowers

Happy Wednesday! It’s the 15th so its time for the reminder card for The Flower Challenge. This month’s challenge is all about creating a flower card with the Summer or Winter theme.

For my card today I used the Essentials by Ellen Mondo Sakura colored up with Zig markers and colored pencils.

I started by stamping the image on Bristol Smooth paper with Archival Ink. I then took out some Zig Clean Color Brush Markers in summery colors.

I decided to play around with my colored pencils to add some fun lines on the flowers.

Once I was done coloring the image, I traced it in black pen and then added some small lines on the stems.

I added gold washi tape to the side of the card and die cut the beautiful sentiment and heat embossed it in gold. I stamped the “You” sentiment in the same gold so that it would match.
