Father’s Day Card

Happy Tuesday! I’m over on the Crackerbox & Suzy Stamp blog with another quick card I made for Father’s Day, which will be here before you know it.

I first started with Bristol Smooth paper and smooshed Distress Oxides in Gathered Twigs and Walnut Stain. I took some Twilight Fresco Chalk Paint and added random paint brush marks and splatters. I love the look of brown and blue together.

While that was drying, I stamped the Father’s Day sentiment on cardstock and added a background to it with blue washi tape. I attached the sentiment to the background with some foam tape for some dimension.

There you have it, a fun and artsy looking Father’s Day card that you can even get your kids to help you with.
