Crackerbox & Suzy Stamp Anniversary

Happy April Fools Day lol! I’m so excited to share with you a new release from Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps and a fun Blog Hop to celebrate with them (no its not a joke!) Here is the card I made for today’s hop.

This release has some great birthday sentiments and this Hugs Kisses and Wishes is one of my favorite.

I started with some Bristol Smooth paper, my favorite for ink blending, and took out my stencil brushes. I wanted to lighter inked look and the stencil brushes allow for a softer blended look. I masked off a the outer sections of my card and blended Distress Oxides in Shaded Lilac, Peacock Feathers, and Cracked Pistachio. I then added water drops and lifted some of the ink off with a paper towel.

Once the ink was dry, I used Versafine ink and WOW Black Glint Embossing powder for the Moon Fairy. I love how elegant she looks and she’s perfect for this sentiment.

I added the sentiment with Versafine ink and heat embossed it with Clear Sparkle embossing powder for extra “wish” shine.  I finished my card with some sequins.
