Happy Friday! I hope you are gearing up for a wonderful weekend. I’m taking part in a fun Instagram Hop with Graciellie Design and WOW! Embossing Powders and wanted to share my cards here as well. Scroll down for more information on the Giveaway!
I made multiple cards for the hop and love working with these beautiful digital images and embossing Powders.
For my first card I used the Tulips & Daisy digital set and printed out these tulips on Bristol Smooth paper. I used Zig Real Brush markers to watercolor the tulips and once they were used some WOW! Ink pad refill and a old paint brush to add some lines on my flower where I wanted some sparkle highlights.
I used WOW! Clear Sparkle on the flower and Vintage Jade on the leaves. and sentiment.
For Card 2 – I printed the Daisy from the same set on watercolor paper and used my Daniel Smith watercolors to paint it in.
I then added some embossing lines with my brush to add some depth and sparkle to the daisy. I used WOW! Mayan Glitz, Platinum and Gold for the center of the flower. I then added some more gold and Mayan glitz to the petals. For the leaves I love using the WOW! Vintage Jade.
For the background of my card I used the WOW! Fab Foil. I painted on some lines with the embossing refill and then used WOW! Bonding Powder and heat set it and ran it through my laminator.
For Card 3, I used the Cupcake Wishes set with Copic Markers.
Once I was done coloring the cupcake (I made it large so it would fill my card) I added some more embossing ink to add sparkle to my image. I used WOW! Cloud 9 for the sprinkles and highligted with the Clear Sparkle. For the wrapper, I used WOW! Persian Indigo which is a pretty purple with sparkles.
For Card 4, I used Beautiful Birthday Wisheswith Zig markers.on Bristol Smooth paper. Again, I made this image large maily because I love working with the large petals!
I did a quick wash with the Zig markers and then added accents to the petals with WOW! Persian Indigo and Midnight Dream. For the center of my flower I used Black Glint and Metallic Platinum.
For my background I used the WOW! Embossing pad and masked off part of my paper to make lines. I then heat embossed it with Metallic Platium for a fun striped background.
For my last card, I used the Cuddle in a Cup with with Zig markers.
I made this image large as well and added WOW! Vintage Jade and Clear Sparkle to the flower and painted lines on the cup and heat embossed it with Blue Glitz. I used the WOW! Embossing pen to trace the word coffee on my sentiment and added some Black Glint powder for some shine!
