Katzelkraft Daisy Butterfly

Happy Friday! I’m over on the Topflight Stamps blog continuing with the Katzelkraft theme of the week. I love the variety of styles Katzelkraft offers in their stamps and for today

I picked the Daisy Butterfly with a large bloom and gorgeous butterfly. Remember with all Katzelkraft stamps you will also want to make sure to buy Cling Mounting Foam since all the stamps come unmounted.

I used these beautiful Prism Pearlescent Powders to watercolor my image. A little bit goes a long way with these color packed powders when you just add water. I first laid down a little of the pink powder on Bristol Smooth paper. Once it was dry I stamped the image and white heat embossed it. I then added some blue powder and purple powder to the image.

I added a little colored pencil for shading to the butterfly and flower as well as some gray for shadows.

I used the Katzlekraft Dreamer Sentiment on vellum and heat embossed it in black. The sentiments in this set are unique and I love the font.

I added these pretty little butterflies from Miss Ink and some Hunkydory Sparkles for additional shine.
