Doodles with PaperArtsy

I’m over on the Topflight stamp blog today with a fun and bright card I made using some PaperArtsy supplies.

When I was at Creativation this year, I was able to take a PaperArtsy class and play around with some fun stamps and paints. I made this card using the techniques I learned.

I’m still collecting the PaperArtsy Fresco Chalk Paints so had to substitute a little Distress Paint for additional colors, but it was fun to learn that both paints played well together.  I used Bristol paper and made circles with the Distress paint and PaperArtsy Fresco Paint.

Once the background was dry, I started stamping a design with this stamp set by Tracy Scott ETS38. I love the endless possibilities and designs you can make with this set simply by changing up the way you stamp the images.

I decided to use the larger stamp in the middle and then build on to it with the smaller designs.

Once I was done stamping, I added a details with a white gel pen. I stamped the Create sentiment stamp from Creative Expressions on vellum with Versamark ink and black heat embossed it.
